Vytal
A HIPAA-compliant platform that streams patient vitals to clinicians in real time — with automated escalation that catches deterioration before it becomes a readmission.

The challenge
Vytal's care teams were drowning in disconnected monitoring tools. Vital readings landed in three separate systems, alerts were noisy, and by the time a nurse noticed a trend, the window to act had often closed.
They needed one platform that clinicians would actually trust — fast, accurate, and HIPAA-compliant — without adding to the alert fatigue that made staff tune out.
Our approach
We started with a two-week discovery embedded with the nursing staff, mapping exactly which signals mattered and where the false positives came from.
From there we designed a single real-time pipeline with tunable escalation rules, so alerts reflect clinical judgment rather than raw thresholds.
What we built
A streaming ingestion layer normalizes data from every device into one record, with sub-two-second delivery to a live clinician dashboard.
An escalation engine routes the right alert to the right person, and a full audit trail keeps every action compliant and reviewable.
Zenlor built us something clinicians actually trust. Alerts fire when they should, and the team caught deterioration we would have missed. Readmissions dropped within a quarter.
